Hello Friend,
Not a great deal happening at the moment. The prison band collective are already preparing for the Christmas concert. I also help out on the guitar classes and I am writing a course on different strumming techniques.
Over the past few months there has been a high-profile campaign to reinstate steel guitar strings as an allowable possession for prisoners. I have written an article on this in a new section called PRISON LIFE.
It has also been suggested to me, by my friend and designer of this site, that I post some more of my more creative pursuits. This would include poetry, artwork and songs. I am hopeful that we can start work on this over the next couple of months.
Finally, I saw a cardiologist for a check-up. My stress ECG had a less than 2mm change (whatever that means) which, whilst not good, is better than a more than 2mm change. I was prescribed more (!) medication which gave me 5 days of awful side-effects, so I had to stop. Despite these health issues, I’m feeling in pretty good shape. I must be, I complete the 9 week Insanity workout in 2 days. I’ve really enjoyed it and will be continuing. I’ve just about got enough space in my 2m x 3.75m ‘box’.
Be happy, be safe, see you next time.
