Coronavirus: time to ‘reset’
Well, that was all the health stuff – time for my ‘ever friendly ‘update’…
There’s not much to say. The prison is still clear of the virus; however, as people can be contagious a few days before displaying symptoms, it is entirely possible that a member of staff might bring in the virus and, as they are not adhering to the 2 metre rule, start to infect their colleagues and prisoners – then we would have a problem – lots of older prisoners with underlying health problems.
Even though I’m doing a daily hour of yoga, 30 minutes brisk walk on the yard and a cell circuit, I feel like I’ve put on a stone in weight – in 3 weeks! I’ve got way too much food in my cell.
I wish people would stop writing about having to stay at home. You’re alive! Make the most of it and see this as an opportunity to ‘reset’. Do all the things where you’ve the drippy excuse of: “I don’t have enough time.”
Staying at home with the person or people you love – that sounds like heaven…
Be happy, be safe and be kind.
