Healthcare: cometh the hour…
Hello friend,
Day 17…
(see2019- 45-to 53) Well, it took me over 20 hours but I finally submitted my NMC fitness to practise concern regarding Nurse X. I also submitted one regarding the 2 nurses who didn’t attend me during my asthma attack – they’re not all heroes, and that reflects badly.
As I put together my 16 page letter and attached a 50 page bundle, and pondered the meaning of life (!), I came to realise the balance of power was about to shift. Sure, at the time, staff can mistreat and degrade prisoners, and even make up utter rubbish about them – perhaps thinking they are immune from any consequence – however, when you start to collect and forensically examine the evidence a different story emerges. One rooted in fact and not the histrionic ravings of the lunatic.
The first part of the chronology dealt with my worsening Vitamin D deficiency symptoms – first mentioned in my medical file in September 2018 – and my ‘coughing illness’, and lack of a GP appointment; however, it starts to get really juicy when we hit the entries Nurse X put on my medical file.

Be happy, be safe and be kind.
