Hello friend,
A small addendum to the Koestler story. I found out the results in the Arts Project Category. It turns out that there was not a Platinum prize (1st) awarded; I’ve no idea why. There was a gold (2nd), Silver (3rd) and two Bronze (4th) awards; it appears that our Bronze was a consolation as the judging had concluded.
The other Bronze was the concept album (prisoners contributing songs which were then recorded; Silver was for some magazines (magazines…?) and Gold was textiles copies (yes, copies) of sufferagette banners (very on the money). Whilst I am sure that each project was of a high standard, I find it hard to understand why we didn’t win the Platinum award; I’m not the only one who has been left somewhat bewildered by the result.
Had we only been allowed to send the proposed pack…
