Food Poisoning
Hello friend,
For the second time in this prison, I had food poisoning. The same as last time: middle of the night; a lot of abdominal pain; both ends (sorry).
I know exactly what it was. The salads in here are prepared , put on a polystyrene plate, cling film wrapped and refrigerated. So far so good. They are then taken out of the fridge, mid-afternoon, put on a hot trolley, and it was a roasting hot day as well, then transferred to a hot servery. This cold to hot creates moisture under the cling film; a breeding ground for bacteria; in fact, the tomato was covered in what could only be described as, slime. Unfortunately, I have no way of getting a stool sample analysis.
All Healthcare did was to put me on 48 hours quarantine (which wasn’t adhered to, anyway). It’s only a matter of time before people are hospitalised, or worse, from the lack of Health and Hygiene in this place.
Be happy, be safe.
