Still no resolution. I’m still waiting on a reply (2weeks) to the 2nd application I made to the project Governor. Great.
At least the woodwork guys, who made the sets and props, got a thank you in the form of a £5 bonus. It’s not much, but it’s something. It’s certainly more thanks than I got…
…perhaps, because management are under the misconception that I didn’t do much. A reply to the ‘thank a member of staff’ form I put in for the ‘musician in residence’ referred to the “major role” he played in securing Arts Council funding. Another manager said something similar to the other week. Whilst in no way undermining his input he did bring some added value, over 90% of the application was my work. It had to be submitted online for me by proxy.
I’m more than happy to call it a team effort but don’t airbrush me out.
Be happy, be safe.
