Category A: Elvis has left the building…
Once again, the Cat A blog beat me into submission. I could have and should have written it 3 months ago. Mylast series (2019 – 39 – 43) were draining and I didn’t want to go through the work, stress and negative emotion that this one will create. Hopefully, this will be my last Cat A blog.
So, how did last year’s review end. C’mon, you know the answer to that one. I spent 24 hours of my life on this review – yes, one whole day… wasted. You think that these reviews can’t get any more farcical but this one turned into a pantomime. Given the positive conclusions in our psychology report and compelling solicitor submissions, one might consider that I had a good chance of lowering my category to Cat B – but, no.
The Local Advisory Panel (LAP) minutes (this is HMP Wakefield staff) put paid to that.
Be happy, be safe and be kind.
