Continuing on the theme of prisoners health: over the past few months, there seems to have been an unaturally high number of prisoners deaths in HMP Wakefield; I am aware of at least 8 (there are more). Whilst it is true to say that this prison has an ageing population, many of whom have dedicated their lives destroying their health utilising a variety of means, I have never seen quite so many deaths over such a short time period; it is disturbing.
There is not much more I can add to this other than to say: I cannot wait to get out of this place to somewhere which places a value on every individual life, instead of being dehumanised and disposed.
Be happy, be safe.
