I injured my ankle about 4 months ago whilst exercising. I thought it was a strained achilles. After getting a scan, it turns out the ‘washers’ which connect the tendon to the bone were inflamed.
At the time it happened, I decided to take some time off exercising; thinking it would only be for a few days. Days turned to weeks and I ended up putting on a load of weight. I was getting decidedly podgy. I tackled it in the New Year and have only just got it back down to a reasonable figure; although, I don’t know what that figure is as I never wegh myself anymore.
